DAY 2: SOFIA – KAZANLAK – VELIKO TARNOVO – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for the museum town of Veliko Tarnovo (via Rose Valley). On the way a visit of Kazanlak Tomb - the best - preserved monument of the Thracian art from 4^th - 3rd century BC. Lunch. Arrival in Veliko Tarnovo and accommodation at  4 star hotel. Dinner & overnight.



DAY 3: VELIKO TARNOVO – IVANOVO ROCK CHURCHES – ROUSSE – F/B                         

Breakfast. Sightseeing the Bulgarian Medieval capital city. Lunch. Departure for the town of Rousse – the Bulgarian largest port on the Danube River coast. On the way a visit of the Ivanovo Rock Churches and cells with a 13th and 14^th century murals of great artistic interest - duged into the rock high above the picturesque canyon of the Roussenski Lom river. Arrival in Rousse and accommodation at hotel – 4 star.  Dinner and overnight.



DAY 4: ROUSSE – MADARA HORSEMAN – SHOUMEN – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for the town of Shoumen. On the way a visit of a unique for Europe bas - relief, carved out of the sheer rock - Madara Horseman (8th century). Arrival in Shoumen and accommodation at hotel Shoumen – 3 star hotel. Time at leisure. Dinner and overnight.



DAY 5: SHOUMEN – NESSEBAR – BOURGAS – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for the town of Bourgass – the Bulgarian second largest port on the Black Sea side. Lunch. On the way – a visit of Nessebar. The museum town preserves the ruins of more than 40 medieval churches with murals and carvings, ceramic ornaments. Arrival in Bourgas and accommodation at Interhotel Balgaria - 4 star hotel.  Dinner and overnight.



DAY 6: BOURGAS – PLOVDIV – F/B

Breakfast. Drive to the town of Plovdiv – the Bulgarian second largest. Arrival and accommodation at  Hotel – 4 star. Lunch. Sightseeing of the Old Town-a reserve of Bulgarian National Revival architecture. Dinner & overnight.



DAY 7: PLOVDIV – RILA MONASTERY – SOFIA – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for Sofia. On the way a visit of the Rila monastery – situated in the heart of Rila Mountain. It’s the most famous monument of Bulgarian culture from the National Revival period. Lunch. Proceeding for Sofia. Arrival and accommodation at hotel 4****. Folk show and dinner. Overnight.




DAY 8: SOFIA- Breakfast

Breakfast. City tour of the Bulgarian capital with a visit of the Boyana Church (on Vitosha mountain), dated 1259 and known for its 13th century murals - famous for their exceptional realism. Afternoon transfer to the Airport for the home flight.
