DAY 1: SOFIA-Dinner
Arrival in Sofia. Transfer and accommodation at  4 star hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

 

DAY 2: SOFIA – RILA MONASTERY – SOFIA- F/B
Breakfast. The sightseeing of Sofia passes trough the Alexander Nevsky memorial cathedral. Trip to the Rila monastery with lunch - the most important in Bulgaria included in the list of the world cultural heritage of UNESCO. Drive back to Sofia. Dinner. Overnight.

 

DAY 3: SOFIA – BACHKOVO MONASTERY - PLOVDIV- F/B
Breakfast. Departure for Plovdiv. Arrival and accommodation at a hotel 4 star . Trip to the Bachkovo Monastery, the second in significance and size in Bulgaria , built in the 11^th century and lunch. Drive back to Plovdiv and time at leisure. Dinner & overnight.

 

DAY 4: PLOVDIV -– KAZANLAK- F/B
Breakfast. Sightseeing of the old part of the town - beautiful houses from the Bulgarian National Revival period, an ancient Roman theatre and fortification. Lunch. Departure for Kazanlak. Arrival in Kazanlak. Accommodation at  Hotel Kazanlak - 3 star hotel. Visit of the Tracian tomb. Time at leisure. Dinner & overnight.

 

DAY 5: KAZANLAK - SHIPKA - ETARA - VELIKO TARNOVO- F/B
Breakfast. Departure for Veliko Tarnovo. On the way – a visit of the Russian memorial church in the village of Shipka, the Sokolski monastery and the ethnographic museum of open air – Etara. Lunch in Gabrovo town. Proceeding for Veliko Tarnovo with a visit of the Dryanovo monastery. Arrival in Veliko Tarnovo. Accommodation at   4 star hotel. Dinner & overnight

 

DAY 6: VELIKO TARNOVO – KILIFAREVO MONASTERY - ARBANASSI - VELIKO TARNOVO- F/B
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of the old part of the town - the fortress walls of Tzarevetz hill with its palaces and churches.Tour trip to the Kilifarevo monastery and the museum town of  Arbanassi with lunch. Drive back to Veliko Tarnovo. Dinner & overnight.

 

DAY 7: VELIIKO TARNOVO – TROYAN MONASTERY -  SOFIA- F/B
Breakfast. Departure for Sofia. On the way visit of the Troyan monastery and lunch. Arrival in Sofia and accommodation at   4 star hotel. Farewell folklore show and dinner. Overnight.

 

DAY 8: SOFIA- Breakfast
Breakfast. Time at leisure. Transfer to Sofia Airport for the home flight.
