DAY 1: SOFIA- Dinner

Arrival in Sofia.  Meet and assist at the airport. Transfer to  Hotel  4 star hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: SOFIA- F/B

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Sofia including the impressive Alexander Nevski memorial and the 5th century St. Sofia church which gave the city its name and which is featured in the capital's coat-of-arms. Drive to Vitosha Mountain for lunch. Time at leisure in Vitocha. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: SOFIA - RILA MONASTERY – PLOVDIV – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for Plovdiv via Rila monastery - the biggest spiritual and literature center of the Bulgarian Revival period. Lunch in Rila. Departure for Plovdiv. Arrival and accommodation at hotel  4 star hotel . Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: PLOVDIV - BACHKOVO MONASTERY – PLOVDIV- F/B

Breakfast. Sightseeing including a visit of  the old parts of Plovdiv, now an architectural museum reserve. Trip to the Bachkovo monastery, built in 1083 by the Bakuryani brothers from Georgia. The monastery contains a rich library and museum collection. Lunch and visit of the Monastery. Drive back to Plovdiv. Dinner &overnight.

DAY 5: PLOVDIV - KAZANLAK - SHIPKA –ETARA - VELIIKO TARNOVO – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for Veliko Tarnovo and stopover in Kazanlak to visit of the Tracian tomb, monument of painting from Hellenic times, included in the list of the world heritage. Proceeding for Veliko Tarnovo. On the way a visit of the memorial church in the village of Shipka, lunch an route and visit the ethnographic museum Etara. Arrival in Veliko Tarnovo and accommodation at   4 star hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: VELIKO TARNOVO –  DRYANOVO MONAS TERY – VELIKO TARNOVO – F/B

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Veliko Tarnovo - one of the country’s most beautiful historic places. Tour of the Tzarevetz hill and its palaces, fortress walls and churches – Assenova Mahala. Lunch and trip to the Dryanovo monastery, founded in the beginning of the Second Bulgarian State and one of the sacred places linked with the April uprising. Drive back to Veliko Tarnovo. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: VELIKO TARNOVO - TROYAN MONASTERY – LOVECH - SOFIA – F/B

Breakfast. Departure for Lovech via Troyan monastery - the countries third largest, founded in the 16th century. Lunch. Drive to Lovech. Arrival and a visit of Varosha – an architectural and historical reserve. Drive to Sofia. Arrival and accommodation at a 4 star hotel.  In the evening - folk show and dinner. Overnight.

DAY 8: SOFIA

Breakfast. Transfer to Sofia airport for the departure flight.
